Berks County Candidates Petitions Challenged

Exeter Township's Ganas is One of Those Challenged

The last day to file petitions for candidates to be considered on the upcoming primary ballots was Tuesday the 13th of March.  Last minute objections were made for applications submitted by seven candidates due to various reasons including illegible signatures, spaces left blank, insufficient information or incorrect information for financial status of the candidates and other items.  Per regulations, judges must make decisions on the individual cases by March 21st.
The following is a list of those candidates whose paperwork is being challenged:
1.    Ed Littlefield (Washington Township Supervisor)
2.    Russ Drabick (Washington Township Supervisor)
3.    Sherwood Conrad Jr. (Douglas Township Supervisor)
4.    Charlie Maddona (Sheriff)
5.    Dave Batdorf (County Commissioner)
6.    Leslie Sacks (Amity Township Supervisor)
7.  Christ Ganas (Exeter Township Supervisor)
