Dear Associates,
The Mission of CCoET is to protect and improve our community. We continue to promote intelligent growth, fiscal responsibility, and preservation of farmland and open space. We are also striving to ensure the survival of our small businesses and community services, such as ambulance and library.
The upcoming Primary Elections for school board and township supervisor are very important to ensure the election of candidates who will protect and serve our community well. The candidates that we are in favor of as noted below understand and embrace many of the ideals of CCoET. We hope you will go to the Primary Election polls on Tuesday, May 19 and consider voting as outlined below.
Sincerely, Andrew Yawger President CCoET
In the Primary on May 19, please vote only for the following people:
Exeter Township Supervisor (2 positions, 1 for 6-year term and 1 for 2-year term)
--If you're a Democrat, vote for Dem. Anthony Distasio for both the 6-year term and the 2-year term.
--If you're a Republican: Rep. Kevin Kennedy (incumbent) is running for both the 6-year term and the 2-year term; Rep. Gary Lloyd is running for the 2-year term only – Voters can vote for Kennedy for BOTH terms, or vote for Kennedy for the 6-year term and Gary Lloyd for the 2-year term.
Board of School Directors (5 positions; 4 for 4-year term; 1 for 2-year term):
WE ARE NOT IN FAVOR OF ANY OF THE CANDIDATES RUNNING FOR SCHOOL BOARD AND SUGGEST GIVING THEM ALL A VOTE OF "NO CONFIDENCE" BY NOT VOTING FOR ANY OF THEM. We suggest voting only as follows:
(Write-In) Andrew Yawger whether you are a Republican or a Democrat. (Look for the write-in line and write in Andrew Yawger for the 4-year term AND the 2-year term. DO NOT vote for any of the school board names on the ballot.)

Dear CCoET Associates,
GREAT NEWS!
THE BAUSHERS WON!
The Exeter School District has lost its eminent domain case.
Judge Schmehl has ruled against allowing the school district to take the Bausher's land.
We look forward now to being able to focus on other township issues and to work to do more good things for Exeter Township.
Thank you for your support during this long process.

State Supreme Court Agrees with Two Lower Court Decisions, Will NOT Consider Appeal by Exeter Township School District
|
Dear CCoET Associates,
I am very happy to inform you that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court granted the Concerned Citizens a very nice Christmas present. By Order dated December 24, 2007, the Supreme Court denied the Petition for Allowance of Appeal filed by Exeter Township School District (the School District). The Supreme Court acted quickly on the School Districts Petition for Allowance of Appeal.
The Supreme Court will not hear the School Districts appeal from the Order of the Commonwealth Court reversing the Decision of the Board of Supervisors granting the School Districts conditional use application. Therefore, the Commonwealth Court Order is final, and the School District cannot seek to develop the Bausher property with a school.
